Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) eventually determined that the jailbreak or root your smartphone remains legal to do, at least up to 3 years. This is thanks to the victory of EFF, the agency that defends the rights of consumers in the digital world.
Previous jailbreak or root your smartphone is legalized by the DMCA, but rules out this year. That prompted the EFF to ask for an extension in order to jailbreak or root your smartphone remains legalized. To jailbreak or root on a smartphone allows you to install the operating system or application freely. For example, by doing a jailbreak on your iPhone, you can install a variety of applications that do not exist in the App Store freely.
But unfortunately, this rule does not apply to the tablet. Owner tablet according to the DMCA, it is not allowed to perform the jailbreak or rooting on the tablet he had bought. Ouch!
