Difference Between Netbook, Notebook, Ultrabook and Laptop

In ancient times we know that a computer can not be carried everywhere, to the time when the 1970 suata first laptop launched by Alan Kay of the Xerox Dynabook. Then came the computer to the present with a variety of sizes up. Nah .. no need to elaborate more, this time I will mambahas what is the basic difference of the Netbook, Notebook, Ultrabook and Laptop. Here's my explanation.

Perbedaan Antara Netbook, Notebook, Ultrabook, dan Laptop

based size

Judging from the size of the Netbook, Notebook, Ultrabook and Laptop. According to PG who takes the order from the smallest to the largest are:

netbook

Ultrabook

notebook

laptop

Why do I put Utrabook in the second? Indeed, the size of the Ultrabook and notebook have the same, but the weight of the notebook heavier than Ultrabook.

netbook

Generally, the screen size of between 9-10 inch Netbook but there is also a size 7-11 inch, people prefer to use the Netbook as it can be taken anywhere, and because of its small size. But not long after the iPad appears (see also Tablet Evolution of Time to Time), the popularity of the Netbook is lost. Netbook is the first time that diluncrukan Toshiba Libretto 20 in 1996, but not so popular. Netbooks in 2007 then became popular and was popularized at the time that the ASUS Eee PC.

Ultrabook

This is one product that has just appeared and popular, in the year 2011 and Intel to build a project for a new generation of notebooks called the Ultrabook. Normally Ultrabook screen size of 11-15 inches and weighing less than 1.5 kg. Ultrakbook usually do not have a DVD drive or CD drive. Ultrabook first appeared in 2011 in October, the Acer Aspire S3-951 with sepesifikasi processor Intel Core i5 (1.6 GHz), RAM 4 GB, HDD 320 GB SSD 20 GB (see also Evolution of Data Storage Media to Cook Period), size 13, 10 x 17 mm, 50 mm, weighs 1.35 kg, 13.3 inch screen size and battery can last for 6 hours.

Notebook and Laptop

You would think that the Notebook and Laptop are the same, but as I read on Wikipedia that the two different gadgets. Laptops have a larger size than notebooks. Historically Laptop used instead of the desktop that you can take anywhere to work. But at this moment the two gadgets was not different. The screen size of at least 12-18 inch notebook, although the average is 15 inches. Due for replacement notebook aimed at the desktop, then its specs are not much different. As I discussed above, the first is a laptop or notebook made Xerox Dynabook 1970.
