The researchers said that the radiation generated by a mobile phone has a devastating effect on crops. In their study, the plant in question is spinach. In that study, both plants are planted as usual. Every day was given nutrition and water and has a temperature controlled in the laboratory. At the same time, both types of plants were also exposed to 900 MHz electromagnetic wave with the power of 1.9 milli-tesla for 72 hours.
As a result, there are changes in morphology or structure at the level of development of the plant. As a result of radiation exposure, the number of branches and leaves of the plant is reduced. Not only that, the amount of protein content is also reduced.
