Who is not familiar with Rapidshare? Anyone who likes to download the file hosting must be familiar with this. There is shocking news that Rapidshare want different websites that spread pirated Rapidshare links 'turned off'.
Yes .. just like most file hosting, Rapidshare was deliberately not equipped with a search engine. The goal of course for hosting the file is used only for personal file sharing.
But as experienced by other file hosting, Rapidshare also * very * often used to store files that have the copyright and link distributed on sites containing pirated link.
This is regarded by Daniel Raimer, Chief Legal Officer Rapidshare, as a big problem for Rapidshare. Raimer not agree with the public opinion that the blame for the many file hosting hijacking happened.
Raimer file hosting assume that the 'legitimate' always offer the technology, not piracy. Raimer assume that the sites are spreading the link bajakanlah to blame.

Rapidshare does not seem to want to blame file hosting and closed, they prefer sites who blame spreader link and off. Hmm .. maybe scared Rapidshare Megaupload eventually suffer the same fate?
